Despite initiatives to revive the stalled peace talks process with the Taliban the hoped for results have not yet emerged.
This after the Taliban rejected face to face talks with the Afghan government.
As a result the group has been warned that if they do not join the peace process they will face military action by Afghan and foreign troops.
But, Hizb-e-Islami party, led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, has met with members of High Peace Council.
